Introduction
Loss of the temporal or lateral field of vision in both eyes.
Etiology
- suggest lesion involving the optic chiasm
- pituitary apoplexy[2]
- abrupt onset
- suprasellar extension* of a pituitary tumor in the sella turcica[3]
- gradual onset
- pituitary apoplexy[2]
Radiology
- MRI neuroimaging with gadolinium contrast (renal function CKD3 or better)[4]
