Introduction
The ability to perceive sound normally.
Vowel sounds are low frequency sound perception (300-1000 Hz)
Consonant sounds are high frequency sound perception (1000-4000 Hz)
Normal hearing threshold is ~ 20-30 decibels depending upon frequency of the sound
