Etiology
Pathology
- biopsy may show bronchiolitis obliterans with organizing pneumonia (BOOP)
Clinical manifestations
- symptoms appear 4-6 hours after exposure
- symptoms resulve within 18-24 hours but recur on re-exposure
Laboratory
- leukocytosis
- hypergammaglobulinemia
- serology: precipitating antibody
- biopsy is rarely indicated
