Epidemiology
- most common form of angiokeratoma
- 20% of men > 70 years of age
Clinical manifestations
- involves the scrotum & vulva
- also may occur on penis, inguinal region or upper thigh
- lesions are 1-4 mm papules bright red to purple in color
- numbers & size increase with age; color darkens with age
- often asymptomatic
- lesions may itch or cause pain, or bleed Differentia diagnosis:
Management
- symptomatic
- cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen
- electrodessication
- laser ablation
