Fordyce spot (granule)

Introduction

Hyperplasia of normal sebaceous glands that appear a small yellow spots in the buccal mucosa or on the lips.

Clinical manifestations

  • generally present on buccal & labial mucosa
  • appear a small yellow spots
  • no symptoms
  • lesions remain without apparent change indefinitely
