Etiology
Clinical manifestations
- indistinquishable from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
- progressive exertional dyspnea presenting months to years after diagnosis of underlying connective tissue disorder
Differential diagnosis
- esophageal dysfunction with chronic aspiration
- respiratory weakness with atelectasis
- recurrent respiratory tract infection
- drug-induced interstitial lung disease
