Introduction
Pain in the thumb & lateral forearm exacerbated by active radial deviation, thumb motions & passive thumb flexion with ulnar deviation. Finkelstein's sign is an indicator of de Quervain's tenosynovitis.
* positive Finkelstein's sign also noted in a case of tenosynovitis due to disseminated gonococcus[1]
