Etiology

• adverse effect of D-penicillamine
• Down's syndrome
• disorders of elastin & collagen
  • Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type 4
  • Marfan's syndrome
  • pseudoxanthoma elasticum
  • osteogenesis imperfecta

Clinical manifestations

• figurate dermatitis
  • keratotic plugs within annular or arciform lesions
• often localized to the neck & antecubital fossa
