Introduction

Maneuver for treatment of anterior shoulder dislocation.

Procedure

• place patient supine on treatment table
• one sheet is held around patient's torso by an assistant
• a 2nd sheet around the patient's arm provides lateral traction while the physician applies firm, but gentle traction to the arm along the axial plane.
