Contraindications
-infected, unstageable ulcer
Mechanism of action
- dressings are applied moist & removed when dry
- devitalized tissue adheres to dried dressing & is removed with the dressing
Complications
- use as a wound dressing delays wound healing & increases pain with dressing changes (GRS9)[2]
