Introduction
Intercrossing of fibers of the corticospinal tract in the lower medulla oblongata.
Pathology
- crossing of corticospinal tract fibers accounts for the observation that lesions in the corticospinal tract above the medulla or lesions in the motor cortex result contralateral hemiplegia
