Introduction
Edema or swelling of subcutaneous tissue that cannot be easily indented by pressure & that indentation produced does not persist. It generally occurs as a result of increased amounts of interstitial tissue.
Etiology
- Graves disease (pretibial myxedema)
- early phase of scleroderma
- lipedema (women)
