Structure
- small arteries supplying the outer & middle layers of larger blood vessels
- mainly arise mainly arise from the adventitia & traverse the intimomedial layer of large arteries & veins[2]
Pathology
- proliferation in atherosclerotic & hypertrophic intimomedia
- plaque hemorrhage & dissection via rupture[2]
