tubercle of humerus (greater/lesser)

Introduction

Greater tubercle:

• the larger tubercle next to the head of humerus
• gives attachment to the supraspinatus, infraspinatus & teres minor muscles

Lesser tubercle:

• the anterior tubercle of the neck of humerus
• gives attachment to the subscapularis muscle
