Introduction
The area of anterior thoracic region.
Boundaries:
- superiorly by the clavicle
- inferomedially by the pectoral major muscle
- superolaterally by the deltoid muscle
The pectoralis major & adjacent deltoid form the 'deltopectoral groove', in which the cephalic vein runs. The pectoral branch of the thoracoacromial trunk also emerges near the triangle.
