Therapies involving putative energy fields based on the concept that people are infused with a subtle form of energy. This vital energy or life force is believed to flow throughout the body. This force defies measurement by all conventional instruments. However, practitioners of energy medicine allegedly use the force to effect changes in the body & favorably influence health.
