Indications
- evaluation of sacroiliitis
Procedure
- in the supine position, the patient holds one knee & hip flexed towards the chest, the other leg hangs over the edge of the examining table
- the examiner presses down on the knee hanging over the examining table to hyperextend the hip & produce pain in the sacroiliac joint
