Solution: 1 g/mL

Mechanism of action

  • liquid semifluorinated alkane that is heavier than water[1]
  • increases tear film thickness & lipid layer thickness in dry eye syndrome
    • prevents evaporation of tears through stabilization of the lipid layer[2]
