Indications
Contraindications
- genital warts
- facial warts
Dosage
(application)
- Wartner is sprays onto a foam applicator
- the applicator cools & it is applied to the wart
- the wart freezes
- apply once, then again in 10 days if wart does not fall off
Adverse effects
- does NOT get as cold as liquid nitrogen, thus may be better tolerated
Mechanism of action
- contains dimethyl ether & propane
- acts by cryotherapy
- works about as well as liquid nitrogen
Notes
Cost: about $20 for 10 applications
