Dosage

Directions:

• apply to bleeding wound
• keep scab dry for a few hours
• scab may be removed with hydrogen peroxide if sutures are required

Mechanism of action

• consists of a powder that contains a hydrophilic polymer & K+ salt(s)
• the powder applied to a bleeding wound combines with blood to form a scab
