Complications
- increased disability in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) is associated with worse clinical severity including death from COVID-19[1]
- other risk factors for worse outcomes (although not specific to MS) include;
- older age, Black race, cardiovascular comorbidities, & recent treatment with glucocorticoids[1]
