- adults > 60 years with syncope
Procedure
- 13 potential prediction variables:
- history of heart failure
- history of arrhythmia
- abnormal electrocardiogram
- high N-terminal pro-BNP in serum
- high cardiac troponin-T in serum
Interpretation
- sensitivity of 97%, specificity of 22%.
