Indications

Procedure

  • 12 items for evaluating balance:
    • 5 static items
      • sitting without support
      • standing with support
      • standing without support
      • standing on non-paretic leg
      • standing on paretic leg
    • 7 dynamic items

Interpretation

  • 3 points each item, total score = 36
  • cut-off scores
    • 3.5 points for static PASS
    • 8.5 points for dynamic PASS
    • 12.5 points for total PASS
