Introduction
medical device for Apple Watch
Indications
- allows users with cardiac arrhythmias to record electrocardiogram
Procedure
- associated application senses when user's heart rate & activity level are out of sync & prompts to obtain an electrocardiogram
- the user taps 'Record EKG' on the face of the watch then places his/her thumb on the Kardiband sensor
- an electrocardiogram is recorded for 30 seconds & the results are displayed on the face of the watch
