Mechanism of action
- enzyme replacement
- required for the lysosomal degradation of heparan sulfate & dermatan sulfate
- hydrolysis of the 2-sulfate groups of L-iduronate 2-sulfate units of dermatan sulfate, heparan sulfate & heparin
