Classification
- grade A
- high certainty that benefit is substantial & exceeds risk
- offer or provide intervention
- grade B
- high certainty that benefit is moderate & exceeds risk
- offer or provide intervention
- grade C
- moderate certainty that benefit is small
- provide intervention on an individual basis
- grade D
- moderate-high certainty than intervention is not beneficial or that risks exceed benefits
- discourage intervention
- grade I
- evidence is lacking, of poor quality or conflicting rendering uncertainty of the risks vs benefits
