- end-stage tracheal lesions
- proximal lung tumors requiring pneumonectomy[1]
Procedure
- airway reconstruction with cryopreserved aortic allografts following definitive resection
- custom-made stents support allografts to prevent airway collapse
- removal of stents 18 months postoperatively[1]
