C6 radiculopathy

Etiology

• see cervical radiculopathy

Pathology

• weakness in involved muscles
  • biceps brachii
  • brachioradialis
  • pronator teres

Clinical manifestations

• absent biceps reflex
• brachioradialis reflex diminished or absent
• weakness of wrist extensor & elbow flexors
• weakness of forearm pronation
• loss of sensation anterior lateral forearm, palm, thumb & 2nd digit
