- common adverse effect of amiodarone
Pathology
- whorl-like pattern of gray or golden brown deposits (hydroxychloroquine) Clinical manifestaitons:
- halos around lights (bilateral)
Diagnostic procedures
- slit-lamp examination of the anterior segment:
- whorl-like pattern of corneal epithelial deposits bilaterally
Management
- discontinue amiodarone
- wear sunglasses for symptomatic relief
