atypical lymphocyte

Introduction

Lymphocytes with unusual appearance under the microscope. They are generally larger than normal with fine chromatin. Their appearance is more similar to monocytes than is the appearance of typical or normal lymphocytes.

• viral infection
• lymphoma
• leukemia
