Indications
- nausea/vomiting associated with pregnancy (morning sickness)
- may not be as effective as previously reported[2]
Dosage
- start 2 tablets at bedtime
- maximum dose 4 tablest/day
- 1 tablet in the morning
- 1 tablet at noon
- 2 tables at bedtime
tablets must be taken on an empty stomach
Adverse effects
- drowsiness or sleepiness (may be severe)
Notes
- Bendectin was voluntarily pulled from the market in 1983 due to concerns about birth defects
- those concerns later proved to be unfounded
