Management
- delivery of healthcare should be consistent with the customs, beliefs, values, & behavior of the individual patient
- apparently this includes passifying the patient/family with inappropriate therapy inconsistent with the standard of care* (GRS9)[1]
* example used is administering IV fluids to a Muslim patient that is clinically volume overloaded (GRS9)[1]
