- cosmetic disorder (large or pendulous breasts)
- mastodynia resulting from effects of large breasts
Procedure
- surgery removal of excess breast fat, glandular tissue & skin
Management
- clinicians should be prepared to
- adolescents requesting surgery should be screened for body dysmorphic disorder
- those who screen positive should be referred to a mental healthcare provider[2]
