Introduction
Term derived from Loinc.
Since choriogonadotropin in serum/plasma detects intact choriogonadotropin, the significance of the corresponding Loinc is unclear. However, CPT refers to hyperglycosylated choriogonadotropin within a panel of analytes that also contains choriogonadotropin, thus the terms intact & hyperglycosylated will be assumed the same.
