Introduction
Deliver a fixed concentration of oxygen independent of the flow rate by entraining air in direct proportion to the flow rate of 100% oxygen. They are high-flow masks, each designed for a specific fiO2 of 0.24, 0.28, 0.35, 0.40.
A 100% nonrebreathing mask delivers only about 65% oxygen[2]
