Indications

• penile deformity
• Peyronie's disease

Procedure

• shortens the side of the penis that doesn't have scar tissue
• an injection of a saltwater solution delivers a drug to create an erection
• the outer skin of the penis is pulled back
• the penis is straightened, & the excess tissue on the outer side of the curvature is either removed
• the penis is usually somewhat shorter after this procedure
