pH = 6.1 + log ([HCO3-]/[H2CO3])
pH = 61 + log ([HCO3-]/(0.03 x pCO2))
H+ (nmol/L) =  24 x pCO2 (mm Hg) / [HCO3-] (mmol/L)

Normal acid-base values:

    pCO2 = 38-42 mm Hg
 [HCO3-] = 24-28 mmol/L
    [H+] = 40 mmol/L
    pCO2 = 38-42 mm Hg
 [HCO3-] = 24-28 mmol/L
    [H+] = 40 mmol/L
