Introduction
Superior petrosal sinus & inferior petrosal sinus, paired venous dural sinus located in the groove along the crest of the petrous portion of the temporal bone.
The sinus connects the cavernous sinus with the confluence of sinuses (superior) or internal jugular vein (inferior).
