Introduction
The fibrous band interconnecting the posterior surfaces of the vertebral bodies.
It narrows to pass between the pedicles & widens to blend with the outer layers of the posterior anulus fibrosus of the intervertebral disks.
It forms the anterior wall of the vertebral canal.
