Introduction
A fibromuscular band attached to the uterus on either side in front of & below the opening of the fallopian tubes.
Course
- it passes through the inguinal canal to the labium majus
Notes
- it corresponds to the spermatic cord in the male, in that it passes through the inguinal canal & has similar coverings, but is not embryologically homologous
