frontal sinus

Introduction

Paired paranasal sinuses formed on either side of the lower medial portion of the frontal bone, above & largely medial to the eyes.

Structure

• like the other paranasal sinuses, the frontal sinuses are lined with mucus membrane continuous with that of the nasal passage
