Introduction

Area of the neck bounded by the mandible, the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid & the anterior midline of the neck. Subdivided into:

• Submandibular (digastric) triangle
• Submental triangle
• Carotid triangle
• Muscular (omotracheal triangle)
