Introduction
Inferior phrenic node:
- Small nodes associated with the inferior phrenic vessels. Superior phrenic node:
- Three groups of small nodes, anterior, middle & posterior on the upper surface of the diaphragm.
- receive afferents from the liver, diaphragm & intercostal spaces
- send efferents to parasternal & posterior mediastinal nodes
