Introduction

The largest & most lateral of the cerebellar nuclei.

Afferents

• axons of Purkinje cells of the lateral cerebellar cortex
• collaterals of cerebellar afferent fibers enroute to the cerebellar cortex

Efferents

• via superior cerebellar peduncle (brachium conjunctivum)
