Structure
- a broad gyrus on either frontal lobe running in an antero-posterior direction between the lateral Sylvian fissure & the inferior frontal sulcus
- it is divided by branches of the Sylvian fissure into 3 parts:
* The pars opercularis & pars triangularis constitutute a part of the frontal operculum
