Often combined with least splanchnic nerve.

Origin

• last 2 thoracic sympathetic ganglia

Innervation

• presynaptic sympathetic fibers to the aorticorenal ganglion
• visceral afferent fibers

Course

• originates in the thorax & penetrates the diaphragm
