Introduction
The posterior extremity of the inferior cerebellar vermis.
It is associated with the flocculus of the cerebellum.
Together the nodulus & flocculus compose the vestibular part of the cerebellum.
The flocculonodular lobe is the oldest evolutionary part of the cerebellum.
