Introduction
Four veins, 2 on each side, carrying oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart. Veins from the left lung & the inferior vein from the right lung are lobar veins, each draining a single lobe with the corresponding name. The right superior pulmonary vein drains both the upper & middle lobes of the right lung.
