Origin
- junction of great cardiac vein & oblique vein of left atrium
Course
- runs in posterior part of the coronary sulcus
Tributaries
- short trunk receiving most of the cardiac veins.
Empties into
- right atrium between the inferior vena cava & atrioventricular orifice
