Introduction
Acquired, benign lesion.
Pathology
- nests of melanocytes in dermis & epidermis
- little potential for malignant transformation.
Clinical manifestations
- papule, slightly elevated to dome shaped
- 2-8 mm in size
- tan to brown, uniform in color, but may have hypopigmented "halo"
- smooth surface, but may become rough with age
Management
- observation for change
